cat roleplay group for 18+

ㅤRespectful Behavior.ㅤ As we all are adults, we truly want to first and foremost have a respectful environment for everyone! It’s idealistic to want everything to be smooth and perfect without any complications, and that will not happen. But what we can hope for is that if there are disagreements, everyone can be respectful to one another. There’s no reason for anyone to be hurtful to someone just because they might be upset or in a disagreement. No matter the situation, if someone is being disrespectful or rude to others, this will be discussed in a ticket. Hostility will not be tolerated in a place that is meant to be chill and fun for those participating.

ㅤMini-Modding.ㅤ This group will be small-staffed, so help with modding is okay! Just be sure to preface that you are not a mod + tag the mod role just so we can confirm, but if you know the answers to questions or can help at all, that’d be great! If there’s any misinformation, that can always be corrected! No harm no foul.

ㅤgod-modding.ㅤ Characters are flawed! Please portray your character with flaws to reflect this!

ㅤDisagreements/Conflict.ㅤ If a disagreement, a concern, or critique of the group arises, it should be discussed first in a ticket. If it involves multiple people or parties, we can either invite the other user into the ticket or open a separate ticket for them to voice their side. As we are all respectful adults, our first option to look at is to reach a median or compromise towards all parties where we can all, hopefully, continue to the group in peace. If this is not an option, we will discuss as a group the best next steps to address the issue.We want everyone to feel listened to and heard, and we will always be here to listen to everyone’s thoughts and critiques on how we can make this group the best we can! And we hope that it will be understood that while we will happily take in every critique, some might not be the full change that would be asked, and hopefully instead found to be a happy middle ground. (i.e. large changes that could compromise the integrity of the group founding like the location, lore, ect. But even then I’d want to hear the changes proposed, and see if there’s anything I can reasonably tweak to hopefully accommodate the issues brought up! I am not unreasonable, I just hope that it will be understanding if I can’t fix every issue brought up.)

ㅤLeaving policy.ㅤ Will be discussed in depth later in the ‘application’ section, but there are little to no rules on leaving! Just that we would hope to have a discussion about what to do with your character if you’d like to leave, and that to respectfully not use any of the mechanics or ideations created for this group for personal use, as the creators and staff put in much time and effort into curating this world.

ㅤRespect boundaries.ㅤ If someone brings up that they are uncomfortable with a topic being discussed, please take it to DM’s! No one is trying to censor anyone’s fun, but if it’s coming to the detriment of others, please be respectful and discuss it privately!

ㅤcommunity.ㅤ As a group, I feel it to be important to take in the players' experiences and thoughts towards any large changes to the group that could affect their user experience! There will be polls hosted in the discord to get back users’ thoughts on potential changes to see if, as a whole, would be appreciated.

ㅤRomance.ㅤ This is an 18+ group, but being in such a group doesn’t mean everything goes! Anything sexual in nature should be discussed privately. Anything illegal in nature should not be discussed at all! (Unless if it is plot-relevant and by that, we mean fighting/murder, as this is a cat group that involves those topics semi-frequently). As adults, everyone has subjective lines of what is okay to say and what isn’t, but egregiously inappropriate behavior will be discussed in a private ticket. We want to make sure everyone is as comfortable as they can be!Slurs are absolutely prohibited. Cursing is aight :)

ㅤActivity Requirements.ㅤ Life is always a top priority! And we do not wish to create a group that punishes those with one. We want this to be a chill, nice, enjoyable group for those who wish to participate in it. Milestones will be set in a combination of activity and lengthy turnaround dates.If there is little to no activity, there will be a ticket opened to check in on the user! Not to pressure at all, just to see if they need to be put on a hiatus role for the time being!

ㅤStrike System/Punishment System.ㅤ Every situation is different and nuanced and will be approached with such understanding in mind. Minor rule offenses will be brought up with a warning, and multiple warnings will result in a strike. Larger offenses will be spearheaded with a strike and an explanation as to why, and if the user receiving the strike would like to discuss this further, we will be all ears! And if a user obtains three strikes, there will either be a serious discussion about the repeated offenses or a group ban.
